[Bug 694369] [NEW] No Type3 support (s/--with-type3/--enable-type3/)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: fontforge The fontforge package is not compiled with Type3 font support. This can be confirmed by opening a font (or creating a new one), and selecting Element→Font Info→Layers, where the option Type3 Multi Layered Font is not visible. debian/rules passes --with-type3 to the configure script, but it seems like --enable-type3 is the correct option. Changing that to --enable- type3 gives a package with Type3 support. (According to debian/changelog, it has been like that since February 2009. It seems like I'm the only one who has tried to use this feature ☺) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: fontforge 0.0.20090923-2ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-24.42-generic 2.6.35.8 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-24-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Dec 25 21:45:13 2010 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: fontforge ** Affects: fontforge (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/694369 Title: No Type3 support (s/--with-type3/--enable-type3/) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
