Are you able to complete this dist-upgrade? I suppose that your link to /home/apt creates some problem to apt. May be aptitude hasn't this problem. In Feisty stable release Apport should be deactivated by default, so the only way to have a backtrace is the Kde crash handler. But if this crash corrupts stack, retrieving a backtrace will be very difficult. However, kdelibs-dbg may be useful to have better backtrace. Please install it. So, you can check if required package is installed. Try apt-get install -f kde-guidance or apt-get install -f without package name. Usually, this suggest you how to fix dependencies. Do you have installed third party software? Try to post the output of dpkg -l, so it's possible to see which packages is installed. I confirm that Konqueror locks up in any site with Flash. Disabling plugins Konqueror hasn't problem in my Pc.
