[Bug 1210761] [NEW] apache ignores ServerAlias directive when using Server Name Indication for SSL vhosts

2013-08-10 Thread Malvin
Public bug reported:

When using Server Name Indication as described in
https://wiki.apache.org/httpd/NameBasedSSLVHostsWithSNI the ServerAlias
directive is ignored. This results in both the wrong certificate being
used and the wrong content being sent.

Workaround: Create multiple vhosts with different ServerName directives, one
for each hostname.
See
http://serverfault.com/questions/377186/apache-namevirtualhost-on-port-443-ignores-serveralias

Still, the expected behaviour as described in the apache wiki is that
both the ServerName and ServerAlias directive should be used to
determine the right vhost to answer a request.

Update: using apache package 2.2.22-1ubuntu1.4 in 12.04 precise.

[Bug 34140] Re: [gutsy] No (functional) progressbar when transfering files to a USB memory device.

2008-09-20 Thread Malvin
this is still a problem, i can confirm it with a current kubuntu and a sony
ericcson k610i.
in gkrellm i can see that the device (sdb) is still being accessed when the
progress bar claims to be at 100%.
and what may be special about kubuntu instead of ubuntu: the kio_file-window
stays open until it really finished copying, but the bar stays at 100% for ages
;-)

[Bug 161893] xrandr TV output pal garbage image

2007-11-10 Thread Malvin
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xrandr

reproduce:
* use an ati card and the free radeon driver (default gutsy-installation ...)
* type:
xrandr --output S-video --set tv_standard ntsc
xrandr --output S-video --mode 800x600
-- it works fine with ntsc-compatible tvs

* type:
xrandr --output S-video --set tv_standard pal
xrandr --output S-video --mode 800x600
-- the syncing of the screen gets messed up...

NOTE: This bug has also been reported in here, i don't know ho you guys treat
problems of other projects, but I really would like to have that working...
(and not to reboot into M$ to watch a nice movie ;-) )

[Bug 146337] No Packages available!

2007-09-29 Thread Malvin
Thank's a lot, Sarah, but this bug also affects the i386-packages...
At http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/k/kdebluetooth/ there are still
no 0ubuntu4-packages for non-amd and non-64bit ...
Will you provide them soon?
