In notification area bluetooth icon appears when i plug bluetooth in.
I can turn it on and off, but in control-center there is nothing i can do, it
stays dead.

Something new. Nautilus is permanently crashed. When i try to run it print a
lot of
"(nautilus:2910): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_object: assertion
`G_VALUE_HOLDS_OBJECT (value)' failed"
messages and ends with memory violation.

Hi, in my case, after upgrade to kernel 2.6.32-21 that bug is an ex-bug.
After all, lucid is still in beta, so be cool. Take care.

[Bug 477612] Re: Monitor shuts down when launching live cd (Karmic)

2009-12-17 Thread Marcin Plocienniczak
I've got the same.
I've tried several monitors and hardware configurations. It's look like Ubuntu
is not working properly with some graphic cards.
In my case it is GeForce 7600 GS. On GF 4 and ATI HD 4570 works fine. Look
like he is using resolution higher than maximum of screen. Switching safe mode
doesn't help, using vga=771 mode also doesn't. I've tried Ubuntu 9.10 and
Ubuntu amd64 9.10, the result is the same. I also tried to install on different
graphic card and then switch to GF 7600, and install nvidia drivers (185 and
190). The result was the same. Also trying turn off ACPI mode on LiveCD and/or
in BIOS, no result.
