[Bug 1309389] [NEW] package sa-compile prevented clean upgrade from ubunu 13.10 to 14.04

2014-04-18 Thread Marco Meyerhofer
Public bug reported:

I upgraded my ubuntu desktop installation from ubuntu 13.10 to 14.04.
The update gave a error about sa-compile. Still the upgraded system seems to
work.
The debug information attached are from an additional apt-get dist-upgrade I
have run after a reboot.
Looks like the sa-compile just needs very long to finish.

P.s. I have evolution istalled, I think that requires spamassasin?

You have to open the menu under applications/ more and switch to a

have a few entries on one page the applications are not visible. Gnome-

[Bug 72346] Re: System unusable when internet connection down and domain name set

2007-01-18 Thread Marco Meyerhofer
I also encountered this problem. It looks like gnome-session always asks
a name server about the ipv6- and ip-adress of the host. Removing the
domainname-part in the hosts file seems to fix the problem.

[Bug 64350] Re: Segfault on startup

2006-10-09 Thread Marco Meyerhofer
Did everyone thats having problems upgrade from dapper or install
clean from an edgy ISO?

I made a fresh install (with Ubuntu 6.10 Beta) on a i386 and a ppc and
the thing crashes since it was installed.
