[Bug 1301835] [NEW] unity's new window decoration does not follow any thing from org.compiz.gwd

2014-04-03 Thread Mark Enriquez
Public bug reported:

I usually change the title bars' transparency on org.compiz.gwd
specifically on metacity-theme-acitive-opacity and metacity-theme-
acitive-opacity. After some updates on ubuntu trusty, this modification
does not work. Changing any of these values doesn't change its
transparency. It does work on other de's with compiz enabled like xfce.

[Bug 1241964] [NEW] gnome-settings-daemon uses too much ram

2013-10-19 Thread Mark Enriquez
Public bug reported:

I was playing a game (via wine) while trying to delete my thrash, since my disk
space is getting low.
Also I used nemo for default file manager but I think It was not the problem.
After a couple of hours the ram usage rises near to its capacity. I have 2GBs
of ram. After I discovered it, terminating the process became really
difficult. The system being unresponsive, and logging in the VT shell was also
slower than molasses. Good thing I have a Terminal open and run htop which
states the gnome-settings-daemon uses about 29%+ and it continues to increase.
I ran killall gnome-settings-daemon. It did not work for the first time then
I tried to enter it a multiple times. After some minutes it was terminated and
the process again restarts but with a very low ram usage.

[Bug 1232622] [NEW] Unity dash does not play mp3 when using guayadeque

2013-09-28 Thread Mark Enriquez
Public bug reported:

I have guayadeque as my only music player, I've uninstall the other
music players. Also I have installed unity-scope-guayadeque to show the
songs as results in Dash. It did show the songs when but when I click
play it only opens the guayadeque window and nothing. I do see the song
I chose in the Now playing list but it doesn't play, so I have to play
the Play button manually to play the song.

I'm currently using Ubuntu 13.10.

[Bug 1148033] Re: GDBus.Error:org.openobex:Error.Failed: Unable to request session

2013-05-23 Thread Mark Enriquez
Hey guys I have found a workaround with this command:
obexftp -b [address of the phone] -p file.ext

Notes : You need obexftp to be installed
: You need to know the address of your phone or bluetooth device by
this command:
   hcitool scan
: The address should be in this format xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

PS : Correct me if I'm wrong still at 14

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that this command :
obexftp -b [address of the phone] -p file.ext
will send this file to the Phone memory. If any one knows how to fix these pls
comment

[Bug 1156138] Re: bcmwl-kernel-source 6.20.155.1+bdcom-0ubuntu6: bcmwl kernel module failed to build [FATAL: modpost: GPL-incompatible module wl.ko uses GPL-only symbol '__rcu_read_unlock']

2013-04-19 Thread Mark Enriquez
I have also experience this error when i tried to build wl module with
my custom kernel which has Preemption Model set to Preemptible Kernel
(Low-Latency Desktop).

I have also tried to set the Preemption Model option to Voluntary
Kernel Preemption (Nothing) and the wl module was built successfully .

thanks Aurélien
