Public bug reported:
affects ubuntu
Here is what I think may be a bug in Ubuntu 9.04.
I have a custom HID device that I communicate with via a wxGlade
application that I developed. Everything works fine under Dapper (6.06)
and Hardy (8.04 with 2.6.24-24 kernel) and Fedora 9 / 10. The device is
plugged into an external 4-port hub or directly into the PC. When using
Jaunty (kernel 2.6.28-15), I get errors as shown in the attached file.
When the device is plugged into the 4-port hub, dmesg shows 'error -32'.
When I remove the hub and plug the device directly into the PC, dmesg
doesn't give any error but when I launch the application, it fails and
generates the python error as listed.
I have tried various 'remedies' like removing ehci_hcd as posted on
forums but nothing fixes the problem.
Thanks
Mark Hugo
