[Bug 1841148] Re: Kernel 4.15.0-58 breaks Intel Ethernet Connection for I219-V and 82579V using e1000e driver
It looks like the bug was reintroduced in release 4.15.0-71.80. If I revert to version 4.15.0-70-generic the network connection is stable again. With newer releases my network connection constantly drops (similar to the initial bug report). I have been plagued with this bug as well. Firefox grayed out almost constantly when I opened new windows. At first I thought is was caused by Flash but disabling flash didn't solve it. After disabling all Firefox add-ons I noticed that Firefox worked without any flaws. I discovered that as long as I do NOT enable the Google bar add-on Firefox is stable again. The add-ons I have enabled are Flash, Webdeveloper, Addblock and Ubufox. I am not sure if this is actually a bug in the Google add-on or that there is some other bug floating around that just happens to be 'activated' on my system when I have enabled the Google bar add-on but I can reproduce the problem any time I enable the Google bar add-on. -- firefox freezes and turns gray https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/172419 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
