[Bug 1246022] [NEW] extended link blocks in trusty-html-build unity-launcher-intro

2013-10-29 Thread Martin Dixon
Public bug reported:

In trusty-html-build unity-launcher-intro

The two "link" blocks under "Use the Launcher" and three "link" blocks
under "Customise the Launcher" each contail a red link line and
underneath additional information - in the case of "Auto-hide the
Launcher" this latter line contains grey words.

Particularly in this latter case it may be confusing to a user being
told "Click Appearance>Behaviour in System Settings" and landing up on
"unity-launcher-change-autohide"

Suggest the "link" block is restricted to the red line only in each
case.

[Bug 1245901] [NEW] Trusty Legal link failure

2013-10-29 Thread Martin Dixon
Public bug reported:

cross reference Question #238281 in trusty-build-html footer in unity-
introduction.page legal link (see Legal for details) fails (both the
others work) is this reasonable?

the common footer to all pages contains a link to Legal which returns
File not found

The Google Ubuntu Doc Review lists legal.html as No Changes expected for
14.04

I would expect it to point at https://help.ubuntu.com/legal.html

the other two footer links work

Re: [Bug 1225876] Re: Lens docs correction for removed Gwibber

2013-09-16 Thread Martin Dixon
Doug, please see attached amended screen shots with notes which I hope
will clarify names.

If you are correct then my ideas for lens correction will need changing -
and my bug(s) may need closing(!) to avoid removal of the link, etc.

However, in the bar the videos link now replaces gwibber, music and
photos remain as in 13.04
and friends scope (the new link) will "replace" videos as the last link.

Also the unity-dash-intro will be affected even if the gwibber page is
edited to replace friends scope.

All this makes the job that much harder to complete before the launch.
Its a pity, if the bar order had not been varied, it would have made it
much easier!

Get back to me if this all makes sense and I will put some effort into
trying to prepare a new page
and link detail for a new bug.

See my other Re:Suggestion requests to explain why I am not "fit" to do
more!

Regards, Martin

Re: [Bug 1225876] Re: Lens docs correction for removed Gwibber

2013-09-16 Thread Martin Dixon
Doug please see attached screenshot of 13.04 Dash

Lenses are Home, App, File, Music, Photo, Video

also please confirm that I should still be working with live 13.04 Dash
as I assumed 13.10 was unavailable to me prior to actual update.

Reference to Gwibber lens in dash-intro is redundant (see answer to

Also see Saucy Ubuntu Doc Review details under row 259 unity-dash-gwibber.page
refers to deletion of unity-dash-gwibber

Currently I am not aware of any other links
