[Bug 208548] Re: en_SE locale needed to get correct weekdays in Sweden
I have been trying for a long time to find a way to change the calendar to display Monday as the first day of the week. I thought this should be an option and have searched for this setting. Even better if this is set by default. I would also like to have the clock displayed in 24h format by default, the temperature in C and the wind speed in m/s. These are the first things a have to change after installing the system. I usually have to change paper size from letter to A4 too. Like everyone else in Sweden I use English as the language on my desktop. When reading the previous comments I understand that American settings is a must if I decide to use English as a language of the desktop. [Bug 192655] Re: Open office splash binary lockup
I can confirm this with Kubuntu Hardy I think. The funny thing is that I have noticed that the cpu fan is always making a lot noise when my girlfriend uses the computer. After some investigation I found out that Xorg and a OOo process eats 100% of the cpu when she is using the computer. The splash to OOo is always there in the background too. Killing the splash-process solves the problem. I have spent some time trying to reproduce the bug my self but without success. [Bug 104743] wireless network (ralink usb) not working in feisty
Public bug reported: I recently lost the wireless networking in feisty. I have two different usb wireless network card. D-link dwl-g122 version b1 (rt2570 driver) D-link dwl-g122 version c1 (rt73usb driver) Version b1 was working since Dapper until just recently . I don't have this bug anymore. I guess the issue was solved after a couple of dist-upgrades.. -- nedit does not start https://launchpad.net/bugs/57808 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
