[Bug 1256695] Re: cannot create log files in /var/log

[Bug 748516] Re: Eclipse window not identified correctly in Unity Launcher-bar
I have a similar problem. When I download eclipse as a tar ball, and extract and run the executable from the terminal (not using a deb package), I get a grey icon with a question mark over it. This wouldn't be a big problem, but when I close eclipse and try running it by clicking the icon, nothing happens except for the icon pulsing brightness for a few seconds. ** Attachment added: Screenshot-18.png https://bugs.launchpad.net/bamf/+bug/748516/+attachment/2083722/+files/Screenshot-18.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/748516 Title: Eclipse window not identified correctly in Unity Launcher-bar -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 429595] Re: Atheros Wireless Network Chip AR5212 not detected
I am the original submitter of this bug. How is it that it takes 2 months to confirm a problem (and a pretty big one IMO). Ubuntu 9.10 has being bad mouthed by a lot of users, and this is the reason why. On top of it all, it turns out this isnt even a bug, the driver was just blacklisted and its just a quick 2 second fix by a developer.
