[Bug 2078429] Re: VPN connection editor doesn't work on 24.04
I've discovered the problem. Instead of "network-manager-fortisslvpn", the package "network-manager-fortisslvpn-gnome" should be installed on Ubuntu 24.04, and everything works. Apologize, I'm nothing but a stupid user :) Let's close this issue, thanks. ** Changed in: network-manager-fortisslvpn (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2078429 Title: VPN connection editor doesn't work on 24.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-fortisslvpn/+bug/2078429/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 2072973] Re: Primary screen goes crazy since Ubuntu 24.04 update (6.8 fails but 6.5 works)
The same or similar problem is found in Ubuntu 24.04 kernel 6.8.0-41-generic on HP EliteBook 860 G11 with Core Ultra 7 155H. Flickering is visible on the internal display and the USB-C-connected HP E273p monitor. It looks like small rectangular areas randomly located on the screen, moving around based on opened windows and mouse position. Glitches are not always visible but are often present in some applications, such as Double Commander. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2072973 Title: Primary screen goes crazy since Ubuntu 24.04 update (6.8 fails but 6.5 works) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2072973/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 984424] Re: Xerox WorkCentre 6015 wrong colors cups 1.5.2
After clean install of 13.10 I have tried default recommended driver "Xerox Workcentre 6015 Foomatic/foo2hbp12" embedded in Ubuntu against network address "socket://x.x.x.x:9100" (where x.x.x.x is IP address my 6015NI printer) and... it surprisingly worked, colors are OK. [Bug 460746] Re: ~/.config/autostart and /etc/xdg/autostart ignored
Update to previously written findings: Empathy starts ok (occasionally with wrong notification "Password required", see bug #840875) but skype doesn't start ever. When I have tried some zenity dialogs into script, they didn't show, but empathy has started: #!/bin/bash sleep 10 xinput --set-button-map "Laser Mouse" 1 2 3 4 5 8 9 8 9 empathy -h zenity --display=:0 --info --text="Starting Skype..." start-skype.sh Very strange... [Bug 460746] Re: ~/.config/autostart and /etc/xdg/autostart ignored
Timing issue, confirmed too. In my case startup script looks like this: #!/bin/bash sleep 10 xinput --set-button-map "Laser Mouse" 1 2 3 4 5 8 9 8 9 empathy -h start-skype.sh but without "sleep" does nothing.
