[Bug 1223622] Re: add support for crypttab mounting of luks devices with detached headers
no patch needed anymore on Ubuntu 16.04 (tested with an unpatched version). It's already integrated into systemd crypttab, just use the header=... option in crypttab http://cgit.freedesktop.org/systemd/sys … 7376e83528 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66396 ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #66396 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66396 ** Changed in: cryptsetup (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1223622 Title: add support for crypttab mounting of luks devices with detached headers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cryptsetup/+bug/1223622/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1573058] [NEW] Ubuntu 16.04 current not booting in Vagrant (gurumeditation)
Public bug reported: I'm using OS X with current Vagrant 1.8.1 and VirtualBox 5.0.18. Because today is the release of Ubuntu 16.04 I wanted to give it a try and failed. All other Ubuntu boxes from Canonical servers work here. Here is the simple Vagrantfile: https://gist.github.com/therealmarv/555f7efc1c55ffa288bca09191e4e705 which is using the image from https://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/xenial/current/xenial-server-cloudimg-amd64-vagrant.box $ vagrant up Bringing machine 'default' up with 'virtualbox' provider... ==> default: Importing base box 'ubuntu/xenial64'... ==> default: Matching MAC address for NAT networking... ==> default: Setting the name of the VM: ubuntu-xenial-16.04-cloudimg ==> default: Clearing any previously set network interfaces... ==> default: Preparing network interfaces based on configuration... default: Adapter 1: nat ==> default: Forwarding ports... default: 22 (guest) => (host) (adapter 1) ==> default: Running 'pre-boot' VM customizations... ==> default: Booting VM... ==> default: Waiting for machine to boot. This may take a few minutes... default: SSH address: 127.0.0.1: default: SSH username: ubuntu default: SSH auth method: password The guest machine entered an invalid state while waiting for it to boot. Valid states are 'starting, running'. The machine is in the 'gurumeditation' state. Please verify everything is configured properly and try again. If the provider you're using has a GUI that comes with it, it is often helpful to open that and watch the machine, since the GUI often has more helpful error messages than Vagrant can retrieve. For example, if you're using VirtualBox, run `vagrant up` while the VirtualBox GUI is open. The primary issue for this error is that the provider you're using is not properly configured. This is very rarely a Vagrant issue. ** Affects: livecd-rootfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1573058 Title: Ubuntu 16.04 current not booting in Vagrant (gurumeditation) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/livecd-rootfs/+bug/1573058/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 109361] Add keyTouch to the Main repository
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: keytouch I think keyTouch should be added to Ubuntu's Main repository, because a lot of users have extra function keys on their keyboard and keyTouch is the program to get these keys working. ** Affects: keytouch (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Add keyTouch to the Main repository https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/109361 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 56450] Re: keytouch kills gnome session on startup
Your problem with yout MX 3000 is probably that it is connected via USB. See the article about USB keyboards at: http://keytouch.sf.net -- keytouch kills gnome session on startup https://launchpad.net/bugs/56450 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 56450] Re: keytouch kills gnome session on startup
No this is wrong. keytouch-acpid will not run at the background when you remove the &. In your case keytouch-acpid will probably exit because there is no acpi socket. But when keytouch-acpid does not exit then your X session will not continue because the script continues after keytouch- acpid exits. It is a strang message you get. Pleasy try the following and tell me if it works: if [ ! `ps -A | grep keytouch-acpid -m 1 -o` ]; then ((keytouch-acpid &) &> /dev/null); fi Regards, Marvin Raaijmakers Developer of keyTouch -- keytouch kills gnome session on startup https://launchpad.net/bugs/56450 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
