[Bug 1172172] Re: Some multitouch gestures not working on 13.04
What about these Blueprints and their explicit or implicit mentioning to increase touch gesture support, regardless of the type of input being used? https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/hardware-dx-n-touchpad-support https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/client-1303-unity-ui-windowmanager https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/hardware-dx-n-touchpad-support and probably more Please do not remove features for no good reason and in contradiction with your own goals!! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1172172 Title: Some multitouch gestures not working on 13.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1172172/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 475814] Re: vpnc will only connect successfully on first try per session
Hi everyone, I have the same issue, but only when I set my vpn connection to be Available to all users. The first time I connect it works fine, if I then disconnect, or the connection is dropped by the VPN server, I cannot reconnect. The error nm-applet gives me: ** (nm-applet:4357): WARNING **: _nm_object_get_property: Error getting 'Devices' for /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/8: Method Get with signature ss on interface org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties doesn't exist ** (nm-applet:4357): WARNING **: _nm_object_get_property: Error getting 'Devices' for /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/8: Method Get with signature ss on interface org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties doesn't exist ** (nm-applet:4357): WARNING **: _nm_object_get_property: Error getting 'ServiceName' for /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/8: Method Get with signature ss on interface org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties doesn't exist ** (nm-applet:4357): CRITICAL **: applet_get_connection_for_active: assertion `scope != NM_CONNECTION_SCOPE_UNKNOWN' failed So it seems as if nm-applet is unaware that the connection is dropped and is looking for a non-existing one which causes a crash in nm-applet. Restarting network-manager solves this issue, restarting nm-applet does not solve the issue. So somehow nm-applet gets (wrong) information from network-manager about a non-existing vpn connection. -- vpnc will only connect successfully on first try per session https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/475814 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 449762] Re: No sound with intel-hda without alsa force-reload
Can you post the output of: sudo fuser -v /dev/dsp* /dev/snd/* I had this problem, and noticed the lirc daemon had hooked itself to the /dev/snd/ device, resulting in pulseaudio being unable to load my soundcard. After doing: sudo update-rc.d -f lirc remove Than I got sound after rebooting. Now I only need to get to start lirc after pulseaudio starts, but that's another problem -- No sound with intel-hda without alsa force-reload https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/449762 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 449762] Re: No sound with intel-hda without alsa force-reload
I found another workaround for this problem: start pulseaudio system- wide instead of per-user. There is a good explenation of the steps involved here: http://www.alanbriolat.co.uk/2009/03/mpd-pulseaudio- ubuntu-intrepid-810/ -- No sound with intel-hda without alsa force-reload https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/449762 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
