Re: [Bug 209673] Re: logitech v10 speakers not working after upgrade

2008-09-11 Thread Matthew Barker
Hi,

I have not been using the speakers now since 8.04. I don't feel I have
the time or technical knowledge to work on this, I was just hoping
someone might have a quick-fix! I'll wait till 8.10 and give it a go then.

Thanks

Matt

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue
for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

[Bug 207872] Re: [Hardy] Screen Brightness Adjusts Randomly

2008-04-01 Thread Matthew Barker
Same thing happens to me, but only if I don't have the power cord
plugged in.

The screen starts bright, and then dims significantly after approx 2-3
mins. I have to readjust manually. Could be something to do with network
connection.

I upgraded from Gutsy and have a Lenovo x60s Laptop.

the only other external speakers I could find included a headphone jack,
so it wasn't a fair test unfortunately. I'll keep looking.

I upgraded to 8.04 from 7.10. Now, my external USB speakers, once they
get plugged in, do not pick up sound. What they do now however, is play
about half of the Ubuntu start-up music!
