[Bug 460271] Re: virt-aa-helper fails when serial or console type is 'tcp'
I can confirm that the new libvirt packages fix the problem, my guest vm's are again confined by apparmor. Thanks. -- virt-aa-helper fails when serial or console type is 'tcp' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/460271 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 460271] [NEW] virt-aa-helper fails when serial or console type is 'tcp'
Public bug reported: When serial and console devices are defined as follows: ... ... virt-aa-helper will incorrectly add "127.0.0.1" to the included files list, which causes apparmor_parser to fail and that causes the guest to not start unless apparmor is disabled for libvirtd. Simple check if the serial or console type is 'tcp' in virt-aa-helper's get_files() function should fix it. This broke in 0.7.0-1ubuntu8 (which is when virt-aa-helper was changed to use the XML for the file paths) and is still broken as of 0.7.0-1ubuntu13. ** Affects: libvirt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- virt-aa-helper fails when serial or console type is 'tcp' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/460271 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 412972] Re: can only kill processes with -9 in karmic
I'm seeing this too, clean up-to-date install of karmic alpha4 amd64 (netinst with mini.iso) on a physical machine. This happens only when logged in via ssh, doing the test locally (over a serial console) works. Definitely seems to be related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openssh/+bug/407428 -- can only kill processes with -9 in karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/412972 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
