[Bug 856312] Re: Cant set resolution with two monitors

2011-11-23 Thread Mauricio Pretto
The only way to make mine work was doing a fresh install, full update,
not installing the proprietary ADM drivers and using the open source
one, then it worked, I'm using two screens no problem, never tried to
switch to the proprietary again because if I do so I have to reinstall
everything to make it back working again

[Bug 771758] Re: acer-wmi prevents wifi (bcmwl/brcm80211) from working

2011-06-07 Thread Mauricio Pretto
regarding the hotkey:

If I press the [F3] which is the wifi hotkey wont work for disabling,
but ..

I have pressed the [F7] (tocuhpad) , disabled touch pad, pressed again
re-enabled , after those two steps the wifi gets off like I had pressed
the wifi hot key, then pressing [F3] will bring back the wifi as the
hotkey was working, trying using the f3 to disable it won't work.

I have a hotkey, when pressing the key nothing happens.
Will do those tests with this new kernel and provide feedback soon.
