[Bug 713501] [NEW] Unity application menu does not load or scroll

2011-02-04 Thread Max Rahm
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

On a fresh Natty alpha 2 install (and currently), the unity bar (the
thing on the left hand side of the screen) "applications" menu will show
icons and launch an app but will not scroll. After one time of opening,
it fail further and every subsequent opening will be empty with no
icons. Rebooting will give you another one application to launch
provided its not beyond what one screen can show you (again no
scrolling). Also the window that is supposed to open when you click the
top left button is always a blank window. On the "files and folders"
menu, it shows my home directory as the default folders. If I hover the
mouse over the folders, they change into the files I have in the ~
directory. The folders disappear based on the number of files I have. If
I have 3 text files, the first three folders will turn into those files.
