[Bug 752542] Re: ACPI DSDT info
Same Lenovo T440p as above, after BIOS update to version 2.39. lspci no longer freezes and so far there is no memory corruption. ** Attachment added: "LENOVO-20AWS02A00.tar.gz" https://bugs.launchpad.net/lpbugreporter/+bug/752542/+attachment/4772168/+files/LENOVO-20AWS02A00.tar.gz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/752542 Title: ACPI DSDT info To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bumblebee/+bug/752542/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 752542] Re: ACPI DSDT info
Lenovo T440p, freezes after waking the nvidia card (e.g. via running lspci). Note: The BIOS version (1.17) is pretty old. dmesg before / after calling "lspci" is available here: https://gist.github.com/xqms/9c5f35509a4ea9e2d9a6be9bb55c50b7 Discussion in GitHub ticket: https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project/bbswitch/issues/78#issuecomment-258199611 ** Bug watch added: github.com/Bumblebee-Project/bbswitch/issues #78 https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project/bbswitch/issues/78 ** Attachment added: "LENOVO-20AWS02A00.tar.gz" https://bugs.launchpad.net/lpbugreporter/+bug/752542/+attachment/4772152/+files/LENOVO-20AWS02A00.tar.gz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/752542 Title: ACPI DSDT info To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bumblebee/+bug/752542/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1277528] Re: [Asus N550JV] Bluetooth not working initially
I also work with an ASUS n550jv. It's possible that this problem is caused by /etc/init/rfkill- restore.conf. I noticed that ath3k was complaining about a failed firmware download right after that script is run. This is my theory on what is happening: ath3k starts the firmware download. rfkill-restore decides to (for some reason) block/unblock the asus-bluetooth rfkill. This disrupts the firmware download, and the device is in an unrecoverable state. Since disabling the rfkill-restore.conf via echo "manual" | sudo tee /etc/init/rfkill-restore.override the problem has not occured for over 10 reboots. I had one issue (fw download failed with a different message) after a forced shutdown (holding the power button), but one reboot later everything was okay. That's no guarantee, but maybe this helps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1277528 Title: [Asus N550JV] Bluetooth not working initially To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1277528/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1277528] Re: [Asus N550JV] Bluetooth not working initially
By the way, I'm using kernel 3.15.3, so it's probably not fixed upstream. If my theory turns out to be true, then there is a kernel bug (allowing rfkill to interrupt the fw transfer), but also an easy userspace fix (delay rfkill-restore until hci0 is up).

[Bug 485768] [NEW] [gm45] Xorg SIGSEGV while working with Cadsoft eagle
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel X crashes when working with the Eagle PCB routing tool by cadsoft (http://www.cadsoft.de). I haven't found a simple way to reproduce the crash, as it often happens after a long period of working with the application. I updated to more current versions of intel/libdrm/mesa etc. in the xorg-edgers ppa in the hope that the bug has already been fixed upstream, but it's still there. I think this could be related to bug 415357 because it has a similar backtrace. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [gm45] Xorg SIGSEGV while working with Cadsoft eagle https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/485768 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
