[Bug 1577120] Re: Mounted NFS share prevents shutdown
Same issue here (KDE Neon 5.10, based on Ubuntu 16.04; last dist-upgrade today). When I'm trying to shutdown and press ESC on the Splashscreen I see the message "A stop job is running for " with a timeout. When the timeout is reached, it is prolonged (at first ist was 1 minute 41, then 3 minutes 11, then 4 minutes 41, ...) but nothing more happens. This occurs when mounting at startup via fstab and also when commenting out fstab entries for startup and doing manual "mount -a" after startup. Sadly, Workaround from Post#4 didn't work for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1577120 Title: Mounted NFS share prevents shutdown To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nfs-utils/+bug/1577120/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 721321] [NEW] Edges in GraphViz are drawn incorrectly
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: graphviz I tried to visualize a simple graph with graphviz/dot. It looks good, but: One of the Edges is drawn incorrect. [Bug 253452] Re: Confusing error message when ICQ users have different encodings
I'm also affected by this bug (Ubuntu 10.04 final). Would it be possible to write a routine that detects the charset the message is sent in and convert it to the charset used by empathy? Example: I set Empathy to use utf8. My contact send's me a message from a Windows machine using latin1. Empathy recognizes this (i think it does already cause it tells me everytime that the client of my contact is an old one and/or is buggy) and converts the message from latin1 to utf8. I agree with JC: Some of my contacts use windows machines, some Linux/Unix and some MacOS.
