[Bug 1577120] Re: Mounted NFS share prevents shutdown

2017-08-15 Thread McFly81
Same issue here (KDE Neon 5.10, based on Ubuntu 16.04; last dist-upgrade
today). When I'm trying to shutdown and press ESC on the Splashscreen I
see the message "A stop job is running for " with a timeout.
When the timeout is reached, it is prolonged (at first ist was 1 minute
41, then 3 minutes 11, then 4 minutes 41, ...) but nothing more happens.

This occurs when mounting at startup via fstab and also when commenting
out fstab entries for startup and doing manual "mount -a" after startup.

Sadly, Workaround from Post#4 didn't work for me.

Alway another font that goes wrong. Looks like Sourceforge is somewhat

[Bug 449196] Re: High Xorg CPU usage?

2012-09-25 Thread McFly81
I do have this issue too (Kubuntu 12.04). I have a Pentium Dual E2180 (quite
old, I know) with an added ATI Radeon HD 3450 (installed fglrx
8.970-0ubuntu1, download from www.amd.com) to support two monitors (both
1920x1080).
When I do absolutely nothing (only have Google Chrome running), X consumes
about 10% CPU Time. When I move a window, this goes up to about 30%.
Is there any information I can provide which could help identify the issue?

[Bug 584632] Re: composer changes font mid email

2011-04-05 Thread McFly81
Still present TB 3.1.9 (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS). When I compose a Mail. the font-size
and font-type keeps changig. Every few lines I have to manually mark my text
and change font-size/type myself. Very annoying.
Additionally, when I copy-paste some text (e.g. a URL from my browser address
bar) this text gets some formatting. Mosty some ugly one not in line with the
remainder of the mail.

[Bug 721321] [NEW] Edges in GraphViz are drawn incorrectly

2011-02-18 Thread McFly81
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: graphviz

I tried to visualize a simple graph with graphviz/dot. It looks good, but: One
of the Edges is drawn incorrect. It begins within the node instead of at the
nodes border like all other edges (see attachment).
This problem already existed in Dot 2.8 (Debian 4). Since then, the formerly
wrong edges are now drawn correctly and new ones are drawn incorrectly.
Looks like the problem has only shifted (see also

2010-06-01 Thread McFly81
confirming this bug. In addition, it is impossible for me to change my

pidgin disconnects my ICQ-Account and my MSN-Account (seems random to

not correct.

[Bug 253452] Re: Confusing error message when ICQ users have different encodings

2010-06-01 Thread McFly81
I'm also affected by this bug (Ubuntu 10.04 final).
Would it be possible to write a routine that detects the charset the message is
sent in and convert it to the charset used by empathy? Example: I set Empathy
to use utf8. My contact send's me a message from a Windows machine using
latin1. Empathy recognizes this (i think it does already cause it tells me
everytime that the client of my contact is an old one and/or is buggy) and
converts the message from latin1 to utf8.
I agree with JC: Some of my contacts use windows machines, some Linux/Unix and
some MacOS. It's a bit complicated to agree with them all to use one and only
one character encoding, regardless of the machine or OS they use.
