[Bug 104015] [apport] vbetool crashed when getting out of hibernation
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vbetool I own Compal HEL 80. When I went out of hibernate my screen went crazy. I had colour vertical lines on it. It was neither possible to switch to another virtual console nor to kill X wirh Ctrl-Alt-BackSpacace. After hard reboot everyting was OK and I got possibility to send a bug report. debuild was a successes finally. I had problems with libxss: for some reason debuild thought I had version from feisty. Strange... Anyway after installing from packages.ubuntu.com a proper version build was OK. Backtrace generated. Looks like recurrence problem in libgstreamer. Any more help needed? [Bug 83206] No chart genereted after boot
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bootchart I have installed latest bootchart. After reboot there is no png in /var/log/bootchart nor /var/log/bootchart.tar.gz is created. There are some files in /dev/.bootchart and /dev/.bootchart/log/header exists but is empty. /etc/init.d/stop-bootchart start exits after 3 secs without any output. I added this to stop-bootchart and a see a but not b on console when I start it manually. After some more investigation I was able to reproduce this: 1. Go to sound preferences. 2. Make test on one VIA device 3. Make test on other VIA device 4. Test on first device crashes sound preferences. I did some test and results are attached as video 8). Tests with other devices result in hanging application. Video is in polish but I hope you will get the idea.
