[Bug 216300] Re: failed to connect stream after ubuntu upgrade

I am having the same problem. Totem and Rhythmbox stopped working after
upgrading to 8.04. I get Playback Error  Failure to create stream:
(null). Tests under gstreamer-properties work fine.
