[Bug 1313277] [NEW] upgrade 13.10 - 14.04 : paket-sources could not be updated

2014-04-27 Thread Michael Majdic
Public bug reported:

when I try to upgrade my system from 13.10 to 14.04 on step 2 the
upgrade programme stops with the following error:

What should i do ? How can I find out, which inoffical software
package causes the problem ?

Thx, michael

[Bug 1199877] Re: unity-panel-service memory leak and 100% CPU usage

2013-11-08 Thread Michael Majdic
I installed the proposed packages too, it is much better for me now,
although it is still slow while using gimp. In gimp you have to click on
the menu otherwise it do not appear (might be an gimp bug too).

Anyway , thanks for fixing, i was a little bit frustrated these days

If it matters, i am running a freshly installed 3.11.0-13-generic
#20-Ubuntu SMP x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux on a Lenovo X1 Carbon 8GB

[Bug 1221304] Re: Global app-menu is missing from Unity panel...

2013-11-05 Thread Michael Majdic
I have the same problem, does anybody need some more log information to
make a finale descision about this bug. As far as I understand the
comments here downgrading to a lower gimp version will not solve the
problem.

In Reply to
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1221304/comments/8
:

sudo apt-get install unity-gtk-module-common unity-gtk3-module

did not fix it for me because alle packages were uptodate.
