i talked to the people on #ubuntu-motu and they told me that this version bump is not possible without cooperating with the debian guys.. [Bug 62582] Frequency Scaling suddenly unsupported (Pentium-M)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-applets In Ubuntu 6.06 The Frequency scaling worked quite nice, and the system automatically adjusted the frequency according to the apps I use.
