[Bug 475090] Re: Karmic, Lucid: /etc/gdm/Xsession fails to source ~/.xsessionrc or apply ~/.Xresources

2010-03-29 Thread Michael P. Soulier
Can this not be patched sooner? It looks like a simple fix and right now
with Karmic running Fluxbox I need to work a lot harder than normal to
pick up settings that should just work, and for some time now in *nix
environments.

[Bug 301822] Re: ath9k drops connection

2010-03-28 Thread Michael P. Soulier
For me the drop periods are longer, and the network manager did notice.
I finally disabled the network manager and went into a bare fluxbox
desktop to have full control. Under heavy load it does drop. I'll try
the mentioned kernel.

Quite odd as I had no problems with previous ubuntu releases. I wonder
if I should roll back to one. I picked up an Asus EEEPC 1005HA for the
compatibility under Linux, so this is quite disappointing.

This bug hasn't been looked at in a while. Can you confirm whether or
not this is still an issue for you? Marking bug as incomplete again
 until then.

Mutt and GPG seem to work fine together on my Feisty laptop.

Yes, with a Feisty Live CD (final version is out) is sufficient.

Where would I find it? The Feisty page makes no mention of a live cd, and the
ubuntu live page makes no mention of Feisty.

Please try with Feisty beta if it's any better.

Would a Feisty live cd be sufficient? The box is currently running bug-free
with CentOS.
