[Bug 777056] Re: Windows 7 moves alternate GTP header to invalid position?
I just experienced the same issue of Windows 7 seeing a smaller disk than Linux and moving the alternate GPT header to the middle of the partition. At first, I suspected ext2fsd, then my eSATA port. In my case, however, it turned out that the NVIDIA nForce SATA driver was the culprit. I had to uninstall all versions of it and get back to the stock Windows driver in order to get it to recognize the full 3TB Seagate ST3000DM001 drive, even though it had no problems with a 3TB Western Digital. Anyway, just wanted to share that in case anyone else is having the same issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/777056 Title: Windows 7 moves alternate GTP header to invalid position? [Bug 616463] Re: oneconf-query crashed with DBusException in call_blocking()
I reported (in bug #884679) a crash which I just experienced and that report was automatically marked as a duplicate of this one. Re: [Bug 794747] Re: package_resource crashed with KeyError in get_packages()
Interesting result: N: Unable to locate package lexmark-08z-series-driver E: No packages found The package came direct from the Lexmark site, I believe, possibly here: http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=contentid=DR20523locale=ENuserlocale=EN_US On Thu 22 Sep 2011 01:05:35 BST, Daniel Manrique wrote: Thanks Michael, Yes, I think the Description field in the package's information for lexmark-08z-series-driver is malformatted and is causing the display to be weird, which is indeed throwing off checkbox's package parser. I'll mark the bug as Triaged as we now have the output that causes the parser to error out, and we'd be able to handle this on checkbox's side. Importance: Low as it affects an unusual configuration (it's the first and only report of this kind we have). I'm curious, though, on the source of this package, where did you get it? I'd appreciate if you could point me to the source, also it would be interesting to have the output of this command: apt-cache show lexmark-08z-series-driver This is to determine what is wrong with that package and perhaps inform its maintainers that their control file is malformatted. [Bug 794747] Re: package_resource crashed with KeyError in get_packages()
Hi Daniel, sorry for the slow response this time! Package list attached. As you can see, the formatting of that Lexmark package's description is very strange compared to the rest, i.e. it spans more than one line ** Attachment added: dpkg-list https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/checkbox/+bug/794747/+attachment/2434887/+files/dpkg-list -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/794747 Title: package_resource crashed with KeyError in get_packages() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/checkbox/+bug/794747/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 509180] Re: ecryptfs sometimes seems to add trailing garbage to encrypted files
Another request for clarification on the status of the fix: has it been released for Maverick? I'm continuing to get these error messages very frequently, followed immediately by the system becoming totally unresponsive, at which point I have to hard power off. This can't be good for the hardware nor the data and, I'm sorry, but the lack of clear information on such a critical bug is very, very frustrating. I notice there is no mention of freezes/hangs on this bug, which is maybe why this has been considered as important, but that's consistently what I'm experiencing and there are several reports of that on this duplicate: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ecryptfs/+bug/372014 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/509180 Title: ecryptfs sometimes seems to add trailing garbage to encrypted files -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 309956] Re: workrave has two systemtray icons
Have tried François's new package, but Workrave still displays two sheep icons when either adding it to the panel as an applet or checking the enable applet option in the Workrave preferences.
