[Bug 1195951] Re: Freezes when converting to WAV (from FLV)
1.5.4 is ancient (2011) and . I recommend upgrading to a much more recent release of SoundConverter. If you rely on your distributor (Ubuntu) to provide packages, consider contacting them for requesting an update. ** Summary changed: - Freezes when converting to WAV (from FLV) + 1.5.4: Freezes when converting to WAV (from FLV) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1195951 Title: 1.5.4: Freezes when converting to WAV (from FLV) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/soundconverter/+bug/1195951/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1054552] Re: Soundconverter hangs while converting FLAC to MP3
What exactly are the requirements to reproduce this? A specific number of files and/or directories? And could any one of you attach the output of "soundconverter --debug" when reproducing the issue? Further, is it reproducible also with "soundconverter -j 1 -d"? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1054552 Title: Soundconverter hangs while converting FLAC to MP3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/soundconverter/+bug/1054552/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 273908] Re: audacious crashed with SIGSEGV in mowgli_dictionary_retune()
That's the one from comment 4. It won't suffice. If you want to do your users a favour, evaluate Audacious 2.2 (and see how many of the patches in the Fedora packages help you). Meanwhile, 2.3 has been released, but it isn't a bullet-proof upgrade option. -- audacious crashed with SIGSEGV in mowgli_dictionary_retune() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/273908 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 273908] Re: audacious crashed with SIGSEGV in mowgli_dictionary_retune()
Where can 105_custom_uri.patch be found? By reading the short description of it, I have doubts that it is a good fix. The SIGSEGV in mowgli_dictionary_retune() is due to heap corruption, not due to looking up missing keys in a mowgli dictionary. -- audacious crashed with SIGSEGV in mowgli_dictionary_retune() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/273908 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 286795] Re: audacious stops playing randomly
The "UNSUPPORTED VERSION" string you can see is just a default "build id" to indicate that the build was not done by the Audacious developers. The Ubuntu packager could replace that string with a different identifier. E.g. I set it to "Fedora package". -- audacious stops playing randomly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286795 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 493135] Re: audacious2 crashes with memory corruption when start playing song
With Audacious 2.1 this requires a patch like http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/rpms/audacious/F-12/audacious-2.1-output.patch?revision=1.1&view=markup and it's been fixed in upstream 2.2. -- audacious2 crashes with memory corruption when start playing song https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/493135 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

The "sndfile" plugin that is based on libsndfile? [Bug 408198] Re: audacious2 crashed with SIGSEGV in mowgli_dictionary_retune()
This has happened for Audacious 1.5.1 on Ubuntu already in 2008, see bug 273908, and has been confirmed a couple of times for later Ubuntu releases. To me it looks like some memory corruption as it is not easily reproducible, especially not on i686. On Fedora, at least Audacious 2.1 is affected: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/538379 Has anyone been able to reproduce this with Audacious 2.2 yet? -- audacious2 crashed with SIGSEGV in mowgli_dictionary_retune() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/408198 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 286795] Re: audacious stops playing randomly
There's at least one deadlock condition that affects users of Audacious 2.1 and older when producing some CPU load while playing music. alsa- lib's snd_pcm_avail_update() returns ridiculously high values when it happens (> 98000), and snd_pcm_writei() doesn't return while waiting in poll(). -- audacious stops playing randomly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286795 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
