[Bug 1846374] Re: Having a video playing/paused when switched to another user generates gigabytes of error logs

2021-10-03 Thread Michal Grňo
I can confirm this also happens on elementary OS 6 with nvidia-driver-470. I
tried to add a limit to /etc/systemd/journald.conf, but it didn't help at all.
Finally I managed to limit the log size using this tutorial:
https://askubuntu.com/questions/184949/how-do-i-limit-the-size-of-my-syslog

I still have problems with hight CPU & SSD usage caused by the logging,
but at least it doesn't fill my disk entirely.

[Bug 1943086] Re: linux-modules-nvidia-470-generic-hwe-20.04 dependency cant be installed

This is terrible. A simple system update left me with a black screen and
I've spent several hours trying to find what's wrong. Purging all
nvidia-related packages worked as a temporary walkaround. Please fix :(

[Bug 1484157] Re: AltGr key acts like "Select All"

2017-11-18 Thread Michal Grňo
I also have this problem on Ubuntu 16.04, 64bit. The strange thing about
this bug is that the Right Alt doesn't always select all text: it does
with Ctrl+F in LibreOffice and on some web pages in Firefox, but most of
the time it works fine... My GUI language is Czech but I can reproduce
it with any keyboard. What's even more bothering, the left Alt is broken
too: when I'm in the LibreOffice search and press the left Alt, it
selects all text and then opens the HUD.

[Bug 1257406] [NEW] gedit highlighting class in js

2013-12-03 Thread Michal Grňo
Public bug reported:

According to this post, the word class can be used as an object property name
in JavaScript:
stackoverflow.com/questions/7022397/

But in Gedit, the class keyword is red everywhere in the document.
That's quite annoying.

class = "xyz"; //This is wrong, is highlighted
foo.class = "xyz"; //This is right but is also highlighted

Would you fix it, please?

Ok, reproduced again. The system logged out automatically (why?) and
after login, nautilus freezed for a while and then, unity was showing
empty char instead of lowercase "k" in some windows.
