[Bug 397496] [NEW] Keyboard input problem
Public bug reported: My problem is with keyboard input sometimes. It occurs untill machine reboot or just going from gnome to - terminal (ttyX) and back to - gnome. Problem is solved for gnome session, I can do everything like normal, but it persists in terminals (ttyXs). I am even unable to login via tty! (see attached screenshot) Now finally to core of the problem. From nothing my keyboard input just goes crazy and I am unable to write text at all. Everything I can do is send orders like t = win_key+t (^t signal), so I can start my terminal ONLY by pressing T button. (although my default is win_key + t) All I send from keyboard is ^s ^[s ^[k etc.. [Bug 155438] Re: Compiz - workspace switcher shrinks and workspaces do not work corectly
Just find out, that after this fix I have 4 desktops... each 4x.. so in result I have 16 desktops :-/ For instance I move window to the Right desktop. I am unable to get there using ctrl+alt+arrow. I have to click on workspace switcher to move to another desktop (with it's own 4 desktops). This is not what I wanted to have.. :-/ I want only 1 virtual desktop.. divided into 2x2... -- Compiz - workspace switcher shrinks and workspaces do not work corectly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155438 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 328325] Re: Compiz with Nvidia 180: Desktop effect could not be enabled
Very interesting.. I had it unchecked but after starting compiz and on another terminal emerald --replace, it works :-/ But if starting through right click on desktop - effects, emerald won't start. (now it does not complain about missing drivers :) ) -- Compiz with Nvidia 180: Desktop effect could not be enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/328325 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 155438] Re: Compiz - workspace switcher shrinks and workspaces do not work corectly
Than You Maykel! I had the very same problem as Chris since Fiesty.. sometimes it worked mostly not. Now it works nicely. Thanks again! :) (had 2x2 after compiz 2 sections... top was 1x4 or 2x2 bottom was empty, now it's as it should be.. 2x2) -- Compiz - workspace switcher shrinks and workspaces do not work corectly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155438 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
