[Bug 550625] Re: Alps touchpad is recognized but synaptics clients and scrolling do not work
Anyone has the python hack working on 32 bit and could provide instructions? I'm running 10.10, 32 bit on an E6410. I do not use the touchpad, but do use the pointer integrated into the keyboard. Unfortunately the Bios does not allow for disabling just the touchpad. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550625 Title: Alps touchpad is recognized but synaptics clients and scrolling do not work -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 641091] Re: erratic mouse behaviour after resume
I see the same problem on my laptop, which happens to be the same E6410. After resume the touchpad and pointer mouse functions extremely erratically. An external mouse works to move the cursor, but buttons are unresponsive. I have the latest BIOS, A05 installed. I also have the latest updates for 10.10 installed. I am running the 32 bit version. -- erratic mouse behaviour after resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/641091 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 622604] Re: External monitor issues in Lucid
After getting the patch that was committed as part of bug 578673 and rolling back my changes to use the VESA driver I get full support for dual monitors. Everything seems to be working correct with the monitor. My only problem now is that I can not suspend. It seems to succeed in everything but shutting down the hardware at the end. In any case, the fix seems to fix the dual monitor problem. -- External monitor issues in Lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/622604 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 622604] Re: External monitor issues in Lucid
I believe this may be related to bug 578673 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/578673). I have very similar problems. Ended up downgrading to the VESA driver, but now I do not have external monitor support. -- External monitor issues in Lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/622604 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
