[Bug 1075792] Re: Slow Unity 3D performance in 12.10 Quantal Quetzal

2013-09-27 Thread Michele Olivo
I have recorded a small video to show the performance with the live beta (also
updating an existing installation).
Performance in 13.04 are not exiting because of my hardware, but it works great.
Now is really inusable.
You can see the video here http://youtu.be/8PorBPl1FgY

I'm open for more details/tests.

[Bug 1087534] Re: [regression] Corrupted blurred overlays

2013-04-14 Thread Michele Olivo
In my case (eMachines eM355 detected: IntelĀ® IGD) integrated graphics on atom
N455.
Some panels are too lighter, for example i can't see the white text on the
shutdown/restart panel.
I experience some little graphics flaws, like the the background gradient on
main menu is flickering (And it is really annoying)

[Bug 1141853] [NEW] Need a dipendence to work properly

2013-03-03 Thread Michele Olivo
Public bug reported:

I have installed Ubuntu 12.10 x64 on my desktop with GeForce 8500GT.
I have some lags using nouveau, so i have decided to install the package using
the tool 'software sources' (but is the same with apt-get command).
After the reboot, the video server does not work anymore, fortunately removing
the package from the console restore the situation.
Installing the package 'linux-headers-generic' and then the driver package
again, all works fine.
I suggest to add the package 'linux-headers-generic' as dependence to solve the
problem.

If it help I will send the xsession-errors file.
