[Bug 242513] [NEW] There should be a delay between successive "alert" boxes
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 There are some "joke" websites which don't let the visitor close the current window or tab by showing him infinite alert boxes generated with Javascript. For example, visit www.own3d.es (***CAUTION: contains _gay pornography_ and Firefox process must be killed to exit the site***). I am also attaching its source code in a comment. [Bug 236610] [NEW] Firefox behaviour with unknown certificate authorities can block navigation
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 When you access a secure webpage whose certificate has been signed by an unknown authority, you are redirected to a warning message and taken out of the website. This can be a problem when there are only some parts of the webpage that are secured, like iframes. In such cases, the alert about using an untrusted certificate can be bigger than the iframe itself and so the user can't click the link to add an exception and continue browsing the website. For example, to reproduce this: 1. Go to http://www.renfe.es/ 2. In the left-hand column, in the "Compra de billetes" box, select one random element from the first roll menu. 3. See how the box becomes "secure" and a cropped security alert is shown in which the bottom link to add an exception can't be accessed. I will attach an screenshot of the problem. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution (Gutsy updated to 2007-09-29) When you are importing (File->Import) a mailbox in Evolution, a progress bar is showed outside the import assistant in a "child" window. I think that the progress bar should be integrated into the main window because the progress bar window does not show in the taskbar as any other window does and can be hided by the main import dialog, so users might not know what Evoultion is really doing. I will attach a screenshot in a comment. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Import assistant should integrate the import progress bar https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/146651 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 136666] Truncated Spanish strings
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem (Using Gutsy, updated as of 2007-09-02, Totem 2.19.90) In the Preferences window, some strings appear truncated when using the Spanish translation. [Bug 135567] (gutsy) Impossible to change partion labels
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus (Using Gutsy updated to 2007-08-29) In the System view of Nautilus, when you right click on a partition icon and then on Properties, you get a dialog where the partition label seems to be editable. However, it actually isn't. For instance, if I erase the current name of any partition and write another and press Enter, I get an error message like this (in Spanish): Lo siento, no se ha podido renombrar «Reproductor de música Apple iPod: MIGUEL» a «abcde». (Sorry, it wasn't possible to rename "Reproductor de música Apple iPod: MIGUEL" to "abcde") I think then that the partition label field shouldn't be editable, at least until bug #68924 is solved. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- (gutsy) Impossible to change partion labels https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135567 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
