I have m-audio audiophile 2496 card I have installed 11.04 alpha3 amd64, then run partial upgrade and all updates, then checked out sound config (bug was here, only digital config presets for my card). Then i rebooted computer and Analog presets appears in sound preferences, but no sound anyway. (Analog duplex + Output source - my 2496 card ). I'm sorry can not test capture - have no mic. What you want know about software? I don't ubderstand, sorry I'm using Ubuntu 10.10. Without this patch only digital in/outs are avaible, but no analog ones.
