[Bug 1376105] [NEW] rxvt-unicode does not respect 'URxvt*scrollTtyOutput   : false'

2014-10-01 Thread Mike A. Kuznetsov
Public bug reported:

rxvt-unicode does not respect resource 'URxvt*scrollTtyOutput   :
false' anymore and have scrolling behavior like if this option be set to
'true'

other options from .Xresources works perfectly

when i pass '-si' switch, which implements the same, to 'urxvt', it
works as expected (prevents auto scrolling on new output)

[Bug 1221556] [NEW] i3lock fails to authentificate and unlock screen sometimes

2013-09-06 Thread Mike A. Kuznetsov
Public bug reported:

Description:Ubuntu Saucy Salamander (development branch)
Release:13.10

i3lock:
  Installed: 2.5-1
  Candidate: 2.5-1
  Version table:
 *** 2.5-1 0
500 http://ru.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy/universe amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Sometimes i can't get my screen unlocked back and i had to switch to the
text console by Ctrl-Alt-F2, log in there and kill the locker. There are
auth error messages in /var/log/auth.log appear on unlock attempt:

Sep 6 09:19:34 zimbabve unix_chkpwd[28581]: password check failed for user
(mike)
Sep  6 09:19:34 zimbabve i3lock: pam_unix(i3lock:auth): authentication failure;
logname= uid=1000 euid=1000 tty= ruser= rhost=  user=mike

Googling discovers only the fact that this behavior is common for some
other lockers like Xlock and so on.

Maybe systemd-logind related bug

[Bug 178442] Re: Pulseaudio fails to initialize ICE17xx chipsets

2011-03-26 Thread Mike A. Kuznetsov
I have m-audio audiophile 2496 card

I have installed 11.04 alpha3 amd64, then run partial upgrade and all
updates, then checked out sound config (bug was here, only digital
config presets for my card). Then i installed
https://launchpad.net/~diwic/+archive/ppa/+files/lib32asound2_1.0.24.1-0ubuntu4%7Ediwicppa_amd64.deb
and
https://launchpad.net/~diwic/+archive/ppa/+files/libasound2_1.0.24.1-0ubuntu4%7Ediwicppa_amd64.deb.
Then i rebooted computer and Analog presets appears in sound
preferences, but no sound anyway. (Analog duplex + Output source -
my 2496 card ). I'm sorry can not test capture - have no mic.

What you want know about software? I don't ubderstand, sorry
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10. Without this patch only digital in/outs are avaible,
but no analog ones.
After applying this patch and rebooting system additional analog in/out
configurations appears in sound card properties menu in 'gnome-volume-control'
and it possible to use this analog in/outs.

[Bug 375609] [NEW] DDC works wrong with Acer AL1916 monitors

2009-05-12 Thread Mike A. Kuznetsov
Public bug reported:

Sorry for my bad english
After some of XOrg starts/restarts (much more possibility if XOrg killed or
crashed) DDC become working in wrong way and give only some of resolutions and
works with 1152x864 (tested with two Intel Onboard cards and one ATI Radeon on
three different machines)

stop X (e.g. /etc/init.d/gdm stop), power off monitor (by disabling
power cable only!) and starting X agains solves the problem temporary

Tested four monitors Acer AL1916

Xorg.log of bad session attached

[Bug 375609] Re: DDC works wrong with Acer AL1916 monitors

2009-05-12 Thread Mike A. Kuznetsov
I think bug is monitor related, i can't reproduce it by killing X now
I will report you `sudo get-edid | parse-edid` and `xrandr --verbose` from
other machine (bad session on it), then report good session from there, if you
want
