Still seeing this issue with 2.6.35-24-virtual.

Adam, You said you are using -28 - perhaps there's something further on
that fixes? Are you still problem-free?

Quick note: it is not just Lucid; seeing similar behavior in Karmic. In
fact, Matt, the node we looked at today was a Karmic node.
