[Bug 111272] F-Spot cannot export to Gallery2
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot This bug is also discussed here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=2565733#post2565733 F-Spot claims that it needs ver. 1.0.8 (or greater) of the gallery remote module for gallery2. I have 1.0.11 installed on my gallery2. Here's the error: 1) I choose export --> to web gallery from the "file" menu of gallery. 2) At this stage F-Spot should download the titles of my albums but it doesn't, I get an empty combo-box instead with "No Albums" in it. 3) I choose to create a new album ("add" button) 4) I fill in the boxes, then I press "Add" I get the following error: - An unhandled exception was thrown: Error: Unable to parse server response at GalleryRemote.Gallery.ParseBasic (System.Net.HttpWebResponse response) [0x0] at GalleryRemote.Gallery.ParseNewAlbum (System.Net.HttpWebResponse response) [0x0] at GalleryRemote.Gallery2.NewAlbum (System.String parent_name, System.String name, System.String title, System.String description) [0x0] at FSpot.GalleryAddAlbum.HandleAddResponse (System.Object sender, Gtk.ResponseArgs args) [0x0] at (wrapper delegate-invoke) System.MulticastDelegate:invoke_void_object_ResponseArgs (object,Gtk.ResponseArgs) at Gtk.Dialog.ResponseSignalCallback (IntPtr arg0, Int32 arg1, IntPtr gch) [0x0] at (wrapper native-to-managed) Gtk.Dialog:ResponseSignalCallback (intptr,int,intptr) at <0x0> at (wrapper managed-to-native) Gtk.Application:gtk_main () at Gtk.Application.Run () [0x0] at Gnome.Program.Run () [0x0] at FSpot.Driver.Main (System.String[] args) [0x0] .NET Version: 2.0.50727.42 Assembly Version Information: System.Web (2.0.0.0) Mono.Security (2.0.0.0) System.Configuration (2.0.0.0) System.Xml (2.0.0.0) libgphoto2-sharp (1.0.2649.19572) google-sharp (0.1.0.0) FlickrNet (2.1.2.19557) SmugMugNet (0.0.0.0) pango-sharp (2.10.0.0) SemWeb (0.7.1.0) glade-sharp (2.10.0.0) gtkhtml-sharp (2.16.0.0) System.Transactions (2.0.0.0) gconf-sharp (2.16.0.0) System.Data (2.0.0.0) Mono.Data.SqliteClient (2.0.0.0) gdk-sharp (2.10.0.0) gnome-vfs-sharp (2.16.0.0) NDesk.DBus.GLib (1.0.0.0) NDesk.DBus (1.0.0.0) System (2.0.0.0) Mono.Posix (2.0.0.0) atk-sharp (2.10.0.0) gtk-sharp (2.10.0.0) glib-sharp (2.10.0.0) gnome-sharp (2.16.0.0) f-spot (0.3.5.0) Mono.GetOptions (2.0.0.0) mscorlib (2.0.0.0) Platform Information: Linux 2.6.20-15-generic i686 unknown GNU/Linux Distribution Information: [/etc/debian_version] 4.0 [/etc/lsb-release] DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=7.04 DISTRIB_CODENAME=feisty DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 7.04" - My ~/.gnome2/f-spot/Accounts.xml states clearly that my gallery is gallery2 so that shouldn't be an issue. [Bug 36014] Re: kernel can't scale cpu frequency
What I've written previously is incorrect. In fact, I set /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor to performance, the CPU boomed up to 2GHz and, after ~ one second, the clock sank down to 800MHz again... Not only that, I had a look in /proc/cpuinfo and I still get the CPU MHz bug! processor : 0 vendor_id : GenuineIntel cpu family : 6 model : 13 model name : Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 2.00GHz stepping: 8 cpu MHz : 800.000 cache size : 2048 KB fdiv_bug: no hlt_bug : no f00f_bug: no coma_bug: no fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 2 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov$ bogomips: 3996.01 Please, help me on this, I'm using a 2Ghz CPU at less than a half of its power!!! -- kernel can't scale cpu frequency https://launchpad.net/bugs/36014 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
