2010-08-01 Thread Mirsal Ennaime
Upstream patch is there :
http://git.gnome.org/browse/totem/patch/?id=50027abd715acc24978e7830162c70c7e1a05811
but it looks like another change was recently made on the youtube side.

I am now getting a 403 response instead :

2010-02-09 Thread Mirsal Ennaime
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better.
If you didn't mean to build aufs with debugging support, you should remove
CONFIG_AUFS_DEBUG from your kernel configuration.

Location:
 - Ubuntu Supplied Third-Party Device Drivers
   - Aufs (Advanced multi layered unification filesystem) support (AUFS_FS
[=m])
 - Debug aufs

Otherwise, you can apply the modifications shown in the attached patch.

this bug is hard to reproduce as it seems to happen randomly.

@^_Pepe_^: I'm trying this, I'll report after running a suspend / resume
stress test

[Bug 416492] Re: [CLEVO Co. M720T/M730T] suspend/resume failure

2010-02-01 Thread Mirsal Ennaime
I can confim that this bug is also present in the mainline kernel.

Using pm_trace, I only got that:

[1.072181] Magic number: 0:869:740
[1.072184] hash matches
/home/kernel-ppa/mainline/build/drivers/base/power/main.c:430

(I attached the full dmesg output)

Please note that I'm running a 32bit install unlike the bug reporter

About the potential regression: there is virtually no way this can
happen as input is a substring of input.touchpad (ie: all devices

patch is applied)

duplication of effort.

[Bug 68789] Re: The gnome-cups-icon is way too active

2006-11-25 Thread Mirsal ENNAIME
I'm experiencing a quite simillar issue:
The gnome-cups-icon process seem to cause heavy cpu load at random times (I
didn't manage to reproduce it on purpose)
It only comes back to normal once killed / automatically restarted.

** Also affects: gnome-cups-manager (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided
   Status: Unconfirmed

[Bug 61362] Dependency problem with hwdb-client

2006-09-19 Thread Mirsal ENNAIME
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hal-device-manager

hal-device-manager depends on hwdb-client, which seems to have been
replaced by hwdb-client-gnome and hwdb-client-common.

As a consequence hal-device-manager can't be installed without the
former hwdb-client package.

** Affects: hal (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Untriaged
 Status: Unconfirmed

2006-06-20 Thread Mirsal ENNAIME
I'm experiencing the same problem, but it's not a sis driver related
bug.

Please take a look at this:

Regards.
