I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One is not working properly for you. This may be a duplicate of bug #509740. Can you please try the following and let me know if it helps to resolve your issue: 1. Quit the Ubuntu One client 2. Delete the file: ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf (If using Nautilus, make sure you do a Ctrl-H to view hidden files when in your home directory) 3. Thank you for providing the upstream bug report URL. Can you please run 'apport-collect 597962' (without the quotes) from a terminal window. This will upload some necessary package version information that is required to help debug this issue. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Maverick Meerkat. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. Hi Sebastian. I don't believe that it is required to import anything as all this hook does is attach the non-default gconf data. Please see https://bugs.staging.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/614874 for a bug filed using this hook. I believe that It has all of the information that is required, unless you want something else added that I was not told about. Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. I have classified this bug as a bug in linux. When reporting bugs in the future please use apport, either via the appropriate application's "Help -> Report a Problem" menu or using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. This appears to be related to the "Expired" Bug 548960. If you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs- upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. ** Package changed: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu) ** Tags added: lucid needs-kernel-logs needs-upstream-testing -- 10.04 crashes during boot with magic jack connected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609507 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 528205] Re: applets crashes when working or in exiting
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem, 2. the behavior you expected, and 3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). When reporting bugs in the future please use apport, either via the appropriate application's "Help -> Report a Problem" menu or using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. I am closing this bug report as it is not related to ubuntuone-client. Please file one bug per issue (i.e. one bug report for your skype issue & another separate bug report for your issue with lbreakout2). You can do this by running "ubuntu-bug skype" & then "ubuntu-bug lbreakout2" (without the quotes) from a terminal window. [Bug 609609] Re: Bug deletes address bar
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find. -- Bug deletes address bar https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/609609 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
