[Bug 428231] Re: Badly under-reports bandwidth usage.
** Description changed: Binary package hint: azureus Limits set to 260 kilobytes per second down and 50 up. Reporting usage in that general vicinity. Over 3 minutes, /proc/net/dev reports 325.4 kilobytes per second down, and 73.1 up. That's 25% more for down, and 46% more for up than azureus is reporting. I do currently have a bunch of active torrents, and I suspect the problem is less significant with fewer torrents = less overhead. But still wrong. [Bug 657949] [NEW] Screen brightness on MacBookPro7, 1 goes below 100% immediately after gdm login
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg What happens in order: 1. The computer is booted (MacBookPro 7,1). 2. When arriving to the gdm login, I can notice the brightness is at its maximum. Trying to lower the brightness doesn't do anything (but it shows the notification, so it's not a hotkey issue). 3. Immediately after typing my password, the brightness goes brutally down to ~40% (just a guess). When trying to change it back to 100% (either with the hotkeys or the brightness applet), I find that the "new" 100% is lower than the "previous" 100%. That means I can't change it back to 100%. [Bug 639810] [NEW] X crashes when NM asks for wifi keyring password
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg When Network Manager asks for the wireless keyring password, X crashes immediately after typing the password and pressing 'Enter'. Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable automatic login. 2. Reboot or "sudo service gdm restart". NetworkManager should ask for wifi keyring password. 3. Type the password and press 'Enter'. 4. X crashes and you are returned to GDM greeter. At this point, the login keyring is already unlocked (since you type your password through GDM), but nm-applet runs without showing an icon. It must then be killed with "killall nm-applet -s 9". [Bug 634164] Re: Many useful packages are said "technical" and not displayed by default
Nicolas, technical items are items that do not have an entry in app- install-data. If you want your package to be non-technical, you should make an entry there. -- Many useful packages are said "technical" and not displayed by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/634164 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
