[Bug 688854] Re: [nvidia] unity extremely slow (mutter 100% cpu)
I have the same issue on my PC. I have Ubuntu 10.10 installed via WUBI. I have the proprietary Nvidia drivers enabled and installed Unity which installed the netbook remix edition. After logging out and back in to the NBR edition, I was presented with a sleek but super slow desktop. It was so slow that I had to log out fearing my PC might freeze. My system is a emachines EL1333g-01w slim desktop: AMD Athlon 2850e Processor (64 bit), Geforce 6150SE integrated graphics and 2GB of ram. I reckon this is comparable to a netbook and see no reason why this user experience should be THIS slow. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/688854 Title: [nvidia] unity extremely slow (mutter 100% cpu) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 549231] [NEW] PIM selection tabs change improperly
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution The boxes/tabs on the bottom left corner of evolution vertically arranges the different components of the PIM program. By default, it lists the boxes in a single column. However after selecting the calendar component, the column breaks into two columns with "Contact" and "Tasks" in one column and "Calendars" and "Memos" in another, with a single two column spanning "Mail" box above both columns. Then going back to the mail selection keeps the selection in the same format. It should either revert back to a single column, or not go into this two column format at all. If this bug was intentional, then the text for the text box "Mail" should be centered.
