[Bug 227501] Re: id of apple aluminum wireless keyboard changed??

2008-10-15 Thread MrMEEE
I think this might be related to some bluetooth bug in intrepid...

Currently, hidd is missing in the bluez-utils package... Even if I
compile the package myself, with hidd support, it doesn't work...

hidd gives me:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/log# hidd
00:14:51:CE:46:A8 martins mus [:] connected
00:1B:63:FD:3D:6F Apple Wireless Keyboard [:] connected

So there seems to be some problem with bluez, not fetching the id... and
this is probably why it doesn't work???

Anyone got any ideas??

But every time I try to switch to 4k, the screen goes black... it
doesn't not go into sleep mode, so it seems like it's receiving

[Bug 1256956] [NEW] Getting python-jabber to work with OSAD (Spacewalk Client)

2013-12-02 Thread MrMEEE
Public bug reported:

Hi

I'm trying to fix different issues in regards to Ubuntu integration in
the Spacewalk Management server..

There are already a lot of packages in Ubuntu in regard to be managing
Ubuntu servers from Spacewalk.. But a few is missing..

On of them is the OSAD push-client (basically a jabber client)...

This client depends on the jabber.py package.. but something doesn't
work right there, if using the current version..

osad --help
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/sbin/osad", line 28, in
mod = __import__("osad." + mod_name)
  File "/usr/share/rhn/osad/osad.py", line 30, in
import jabber_lib
  File "/usr/share/rhn/osad/jabber_lib.py", line 339, in
class JabberProtocolNode(jabber.Protocol):
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'Protocol'

After comparing the versions from CentOS and Ubuntu I have found one
differens in the:

/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/jabber/__init__.py

CentOS/Fedora/SuSE this file contains:

__all__ = []

import jabber

for __s in dir(jabber):
__val = getattr(jabber, __s)
globals()[__s] = __val
__all__.append(__val)

del __s, __val

But on Ubuntu, it's empty...

Is there a chance that we can get the into the Ubuntu package???

[Bug 1489783] [NEW] Fixes to finish Ubuntu support in Spacewalk

2015-08-28 Thread MrMEEE
Public bug reported:

Hi

Attached is a patch containing the following to patches/fixes:

First part is to fix dependency resolving when installing a updating
packages.. When not applied, packages with dependencies would fail to
install/upgrade from Spacewalk...

Second is first part of a two part fix (the other one is for python-
apt)..

The issue here is that if enough channels are added to a machine, the
line in sources.list, generated by python-apt would exceed 1024
character, and apt would cast an error and refuse to work..

Hope you will implement these patches...

Thanks...

When you have the dialog where you can enter a pairing code, enter ,

[Bug 191704] Re: hidd binary removed form bluez-utils package unable to connect as a result

2008-10-21 Thread MrMEEE
Currently, hidd is missing in the bluez-utils package... Even if I
compile the package myself, with hidd support, it doesn't work as
expected...

hidd gives me:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/log# hidd
 00:14:51:CE:46:A8 martins mus [:] connected
 00:1B:63:FD:3D:6F Apple Wireless Keyboard [:] connected

The : used to be the manufacture and model definitions

So there seems to be some problem with bluez, not fetching the id, this
gives me problems getting me apple bluetooth wireless keyboard to
work... The basic functionallity works.. but the "fn"-button doesn't...
probably because the manufacture and model definitions aren't being
reported correctly...

[Bug 1844517] [NEW] Loading crashes with "Out of memory" after "Loading Initial Ramdisk"

2019-09-18 Thread MrMEEE
Public bug reported:

Hi

Running Ubuntu 19.10 Eoan..

On every kernel afer 5.2.0-13 (which works), I get an "Out of memory"
error after "Loading Initial Ramdisk".. and the system just hangs
there..

If I remove "quiet" and "splash" from the command line, I can see that
the system fails to boot, because it can't find the disk.. probably
because it can't load the drivers in the ramdisk..

What to do??

Regards
Martin

[Bug 1512386] Re: 4K support not working?

2016-02-17 Thread MrMEEE
Hi

My X240 broke... so I got a X250 instead... on which the 4K didn't work
either with 15.10 but today I have just installed the newest
mainline kernel (4.5.0-040500rc4_4.5.0-040500rc4)... and suddenly it
works!!! :)
