While naturally as cards become more powerful it'll be more accessible, but we're not there yet, and if you find it hard to read the screen it's kinda awkward to ask someone to use the screen to edit the screen, that problem is a bit circular. You could argue someone would set this up for them, but we can't assume that to always be the case. It's somewhat cumbersome to use, it's not obvious how to change the filters nor is it obvious how to set a new filter, it appears you need to download a filters file from somewhere, but it is not said where. Perhaps work should go into this package, I would say it could easily do the trick, but does whats the minimal specs to run compiz-fusion? [Bug 153031] system crash, whole system freezes
Public bug reported: I have no idea what causes this, but randomly for no reason i can see (but i assume there has to be a reason for it) my system just freezes, and does not respond to anything, i can't use the mouse or keyboard, i can't switch to a virtual terminal to try and cleanly shutdown, i just have to press the button to cold reboot. I have tried doing the ubuntu device database thing to try and send a report to see if it's a hardware issue but for some strange reason I can't get past the sound detection, i CAN'T hear the test sound, but can hear pidgin beeping at me in the background and to prove it's not me using OSS instead of alsa, i can also hear banshee playing my music at the same time.
