[Bug 1723857] Re: onscreen keyboard appears whenever i touch touchscreen
Also, while you guys are in the process of figuring out when and how to fix this [stupid] regression, add a fix for keeping caribou onto the display that is actually the touch screen if possible? [Bug 1730091] [NEW] session freezes/hangs after undetermined amount of time
Public bug reported: Currently using the default wayland session on 17.10: the computer eventually hangs/freezes after an undetermined amount of time, whether it'S still powered on and unused or when put on standby. Resuming the session is impossible as the device is frozen and needs to bee reset with power button. Critical bug as the issues has provoked major data loss and work in progress loss. [Bug 1727421] [NEW] Desktop focus border radius not matching overview panel border radius

[Bug 1727415] [NEW] ubuntu dock border radius not matching icon focus border radius
Public bug reported: When disabling the dock's full height and straight corner enforcement via dconf-editor, the border radiuses do not coincide and protrude from the inner focus highlight of the icon onto the dock's perimeter. Although not necessarily supported by the official visual guideline (which aims to be Unity-like), all available features and options that can be customised or triggered by a user should be verified and tested for design consistency. [Bug 934335] Re: GNOME Control Center category icons only work for Ambiance and Radiance.
This issue should be pushed upstream and any known theme dev should be warned about this behavior (ex: tiheum). I can't believe we're all still on this debate.. it's only logical to be able to opt-out if it reflects the user's choice... is it really that annoying to implement? Seriously Mark? With all due respect, I doubt anyone could consider your comment as being a valid reason to not implement such a feature. It is perfectly understandable to take in consideration the type of wallpaper in accordance with the given usage context of a computer or desktop. But in the case I or anyone does choose to select a NSFW image as a background, at home per say, and do not want my children (for example) to view it by logging off, an option to keep all content, including wallpaper private is a valid credential for such an implementation. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/844081 Title: Unity Greeter - Background of the Unity Greeter should reflect the background chosen by the user that is currently selected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/844081/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 588200] Re: Replace standard printing applet with indicator
Yes, I am aware of that, yet the delay always implies "better things to come" rather than make it work now. I don't want to seem like I'm complaining more than anything, but its attention to those small details and unification of the whole distribution in terms of design and function that can promote the wow factor for Ubuntu. Marking it as 'critical' doesn't do much on an end-user perspective except for explaining an emergency status. I do wish I knew how to write code and submit changes to make things go faster; I'd be doing that around the clock.. Attention has been lacking in that field since the unity project started ... that's all I have to say about it. [Bug 825146] Re: [Oneiric] The BFB needs to be restored
In terms of visual consistency , I must agree and even add to the fact that BFB IS NOT THEMABLE!!!, Big, Big nono... The point of having OPEN standards and enabling platform interaction is to permit normalization and "easy" modification of a given preference by the user if the default set of looks or preferences are not satisfying. I personally had to hack certain links to change the BFB visual on oneiric beta to adhere to Tiheum's Faenza icon theme. I would suggest then to: - move or link the graphical components of the BFB (currently in /usr/share/unity/4) to /usr/share/themes/... -redesign the BFB to not have the ugly curve it has and have a cleaner/less clumbersome background. Please take a moment to view the result of my hack as proof of proper visual consistency in relation to a given theme. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/825146 Title: [Oneiric] The BFB needs to be restored To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/825146/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
