I got the same effect on a Asus EeePC 701 4G. In german, the sidebar entry Files and Folders is translated to Dateien und Ordner, which is quite a long term. Unfortunately, I am not able to rename this entry, so I am forced to reduce font size to 8pt in order to get 3 rows on the 7-Screen of the EeePC 701 (screen resolution 800x480). (btw, i estimate the utilization of space on screen as VERY non- efficient in UNR 9.10. Far worse than in 9.04.
