[Bug 1861249] Re: clashing with i915 video driver
Should I wait for it when it comes on the update manager or is there another way to install it? I'm afraid my knowledge is very basic about these things. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1861249 Title: clashing with i915 video driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1861249/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1861249] Re: clashing with i915 video driver
Due to the nature of the issue I have encountered I am unable to access my laptop while running this kernel. I can't login and the screen is black! So there is no way I can run my laptop with it, let alone access a terminal window. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1861249 Title: clashing with i915 video driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1861249/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1724650] Re: [Firmware Bug]: TSC_DEADLINE disabled due to Errata; please update microcode to version: 0x25 (or later)
I found this bug in my system logs today, but I boot just fine. Can someone pls guide me step-by-step how to solve it? I hate to be stranded suddenly from being able to boot. Pls note I'm still very new with linux and ubuntu so any "lingo" needs to be very basic so I can understand it. [Bug 1710390] Re: iwlwifi: Microcode SW error detected. Restarting 0x2000000
I have this bug. Can someone pls explain to me how to implement this workaround in more details? === Updating /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and adding this to the file did solve the problem. [device] wifi.scan-rand-mac-address=no === I'm still finding my way around linux and ubuntu so most of the things you say seem too technical for me to understand.
