[Bug 70627] Re: tz-brasil cronspams me when I travel
Hi Nick and Chistian, The reported features were fixed in version 0.7 of tz-brasil. I had uploaded it a few minutes ago to Debian. It should be available in http://packages.debian.org/tz-brasil within some hours. I'm setting the status to fix-released. I'm new to launchpad, so if this is not the best status, please correct it. About your reported problems: - tz-brasil does not exit with error when the timezone is wrong anymore. it just sends a warn and continues the instalation. - the option SUPRESS_WRONG_TIMEZONE_WARNING was added to configuration, so you can supress the warning too. ** Changed in: tz-brasil (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed = Fix Released -- tz-brasil cronspams me when I travel https://launchpad.net/bugs/70627 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 66978] Re: Us_intl keyboard doesnt generate ç for brazilian portuguese locale using UTF-8
The right-hand Windows key works fine, and you are right, Compose , c generates ç in my keyboard too. And the last part too, Im used to type these characters without the compose key. Like that: ' e = é ~ a = ã ' u = ú ' c = ç So the difference is that until now Im used to type ' c to generate ç and it doesn't work anymore (in X 'c generates ç too). -- Us_intl keyboard doesnt generate ç for brazilian portuguese locale using UTF-8 https://launchpad.net/bugs/66978 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 66978] Us_intl keyboard doesnt generate ç for brazilian portuguese locale using UTF-8
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: console-setup After a lot of problems with accents using UTF-8 on the console in Dapper Drake (Bug 19487), console-tools fixed almost all of them. I have a us_intl keyboard and when use it with a pt_BR.UTF-8 locale I can't type a ç, '+c doesnt generate that character, this is the only character that I found that doesnt work. ** Affects: console-setup (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Us_intl keyboard doesnt generate ç for brazilian portuguese locale using UTF-8 https://launchpad.net/bugs/66978 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 19487] Re: Accentuated keys not working on text-mode console, portuguese keyboard
Tested in Edgy, almost all characters works now in exception of ç (only with us_intl keyboards), opened a new bug report for the console- setup package which is used now in turn of console-data (Bug 66978). -- Accentuated keys not working on text-mode console, portuguese keyboard https://launchpad.net/bugs/19487 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 66978] Re: Us_intl keyboard doesnt generate ç for brazilian portuguese locale using UTF-8
in /etc/default/console-setup XKBMODEL=pc105 XKBLAYOUT=us XKBVARIANT=alt-intl (with intl the behavior is the same) XKBOPTIONS=lv3:ralt_switch,compose:rwin These options was changed and tested using dkg-reconfigure console- setup and reloaded with /etc/init.d/console-setup restart Appears to be correct. -- Us_intl keyboard doesnt generate ç for brazilian portuguese locale using UTF-8 https://launchpad.net/bugs/66978 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 19487] Re: Accentuated keys not working on text-mode console, portuguese keyboard
Again. This bug remains in Dapper Drake and for servers without graphical interface is impossible to use pt_BR.UTF-8 and be able to type accentuated characters at the console. Changing the LANG variable to pt_BR using the ISO-8859-1 charset works. -- Accentuated keys not working on text-mode console, portuguese keyboard https://launchpad.net/bugs/19487 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
