Same problem with ubuntu 10.10 32 bit. I try to remove all configure files of awn and reinstall theme but this error still exists. So What should I do to fix it? Is there any command line to remove awn-applet or change awn-theme? By the way, Can I use keyboard shortcut to open cairo-menu in awn? If yes, please show me the way to do it. Oh, I just find a way to fix it: Run gconf-editor, find the key: /apps/instances/avant-window-navigator/panel-1/panel/applet_list, then remove all wrong value. Welldone, I hope you would success.
