Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: texmaker
While trying to edit the shortcut keys, if I click on one to edit it and
click 'clear', the text in the dialog box clears, but when I click OK,
the changes aren't saved. So I have no way of clearing shortcut keys so
I can use them for other shortcuts. This happens on both the default
shortcut keys and any that I set. Everything becomes permanent.
Now I can change any shortcut key I want. So what I've done is change
all the defaults to keys that I'd never use to free up shortcuts that
I'd like to use. I change them to something inconvenient like
ctrl+alt+shift+x. So this isn't a critical bug but one I thought should
be noted. And so others would know of this semi-fix if they run into the
same problem.
I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 and Texmaker 1.9.9-1
