[Bug 1124040] Re: e1000e reconnecting in 12.04 LTS
** Description changed: Hi, I am using ubuntu 12.04 LTS. - The Intel e1000e kernel is constantly reconnecting to my network causing flowstops and errors. + The Intel e1000e kernel NIC driver is constantly reconnecting to my network causing flowstops and errors. I do not know in which exact kernel the problem started since I do not use this laptop wired regularly. But for sure I think this kernel has issues. Firstly I suspected faulty networking equipment, but the problem persisted on other hardware. I then tried to fetch this driver directly from Intel: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=15817&ProdId=3003&lang=eng And it immediately rectified the error.
