[Bug 734472] [NEW] Unable to perform clean Install
Public bug reported: I wanted to put ubuntu on my parents old machine for them. I used the alternate installer since its a low resource system. I burned a 10.10 Alternate CD from the latest ISO on the ubuntu site as of 3/12/11. It booted fine to the CD and when I ran the check disk utility it checked out as a good burn. Everything went fine until I had to format and partition the drive. It would let me select the drive and set it up for default ext4 with swap. But when I would tell it to apply the partitions it would hit 33% and then say something along the lines of Partitioner was unable to mount / on drive name, try again? I tried it with both drives and got the same issue. [Bug 727208] [NEW] Program covers whole window-no shrink/close buttons
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox I have been frustrated by an inability to access the desktop while firefox is running. The usual ability to shrink the window or reduce to the panel ... or close the window, seem to have disappeared. The desktop panels are covered by the programm, thus unavailable while the program is running. I have looked everywhere to see if I had set something up wrong, but all is normal. If additional information is necessary, please feel free to contact me. [Bug 633901] Re: python-librdf raises errors when using unicode
It looks like ucs4 is not the problem, older pythons were also ucs4 and librdf worked fine. The problem went away when I installed newer redland-bindings (redland-1.0.11 and redland-bindings-1.0.11.1) from the librdf.org site. These were released last week. -- python-librdf raises errors when using unicode https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/633901 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 633901] Re: python-librdf raises errors when using unicode
I compiled redland-bindings-1.0.10.1 and redland-1.0.10 from the librdf.org tarballs, but this did not fix it. When I compiled a fresh Python-2.6.6, everything worked again. -- python-librdf raises errors when using unicode https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/633901 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
