Hey Chad, the browser doesn't crash, it is just unable to display any page because in every page, including settings, aww snap error is shown. Since the browser doesn't crash, the gdb stack is empty. Public bug reported: The problem is that after a variable time (20 min) of using texmaker to write in german, it suddenly stops writing Umlaute. Usually you first press the key for the symbol ¨ and afterwards enter the vowel to write ä,ö... What happens is that it suddenly writes ¨ after pressing that key once, which usually has to be pressed twice to write it without a vowel. So I have to exit texmaker and restart it to enable writing Umlaute/Dieresis again. In my case at least, any apt update or installation terminates with errors (see the bug description) so I don't know if an update would work for me. As I mentioned earlier, updating working programs like firefox makes them (afterwards) freeze on startup(beacuse the any update terminates with error). Whenever I try to install or reinstall packages I get debsums errors and can't perform the operation. I agree with Matt Sturgeon and Dag. The Session is menu is the not a place where a user would look for system settings and in my opinion the Launcher is and should be place for frequently used apps (you don't change settings everyday). So I think that a new entry in the Dash would be the most logical and user friendly decision. I can still confirm this issue in Natty, after installing the latest nvidia driver, ubuntu would log into gnome 2d. Apparently xorg.conf wasn't changed so nvidia-settings recommended running nvidia-xconfig. [Bug 770224] [NEW] can not share music with banshee plugin
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tangerine I am running tangerine in Maverick. It does work if I specify a folder to share but the option to find music in Banshee doesn't work. Eventough the client discovers the stream, there are no tracks available. I also have the problem that the lense doesn't show any result (I have installed it from the PPA) on startup(never).
